Fast n Easy n Delicious Fish Meal
We plan to cut down rice consumption seriously lately and tonight we did not have rice for dinner. What had I cook? I baked/steamed some tilapia in the oven in only 30mins including the preparation time. Very easy, quick and nice meal. Indeed, it is a healthy meal too.
I bought 4 pieces of tilapia from wal-mart with 5usd and a big bag of fresh spinach for 2usd.You need a big baking tray, have a big piece layer of aluminium foil on it. Keep in mind, you need to wrap the fish and spinach with the aluminium foil. I always cut a big piece use as base, then get another big piece to wrap the whole thing again before I put in the oven.
Preheat the oven in 375F. Cut some garlic and few slices of ginger. Firstly, put all the spinach as the base, then place the fish pieces on the spinach. Then 1/2 teaspoon of salt and black pepper, 3-5 tablespoon of chinese cooking wine, 2 teaspoon of sesame oil and 2 tablespoon of soy sauce. Just pour everything evenly on the fish and wrap the wholething in aluminium foil.
Cook the fish in the oven for 20min under 375F. Of course, if the fish you buy is kinda thick, you will need longer time. A very quick, simple meal but totally delicious!!! We love it!!! =)
