Alzeimer's Memory Walk for Charity
It is the time of year again! We all can do something meaningful for our society! Remember the Alzeimer's Memory Walk I mentioned here year ago? Before I talk about this meaningful Alzeimer's Memory Walk again, I would like to briefly explain what Alzheimer disease is. It is a progressive, incurable condition that destroys brain cells, gradually causing loss of intellectual abilities, such as memory and extreme changes in personality and behavior. It is a very common disease among older people.

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. This event held annually in hundreds of communities across the country. A typical Memory Walk is a 2-3 mile walk held on a weekend morning in the fall. Since 1989, Alzeimer's Memory Walk has raised more than $225 million.
